FRANCESCO GUGLIOTTA

Francesco Gugliotta is an architect and researcher at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at the Politecnico di Milano. He has been visiting researcher at the Department of Architecture at TU Delft and TU Munich.
He has participated in academic and research activities at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotà, ETSAV in Valencia, and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
His professional career has seen him collaborate with leading studios, such as Langarita Navarro Arquitectos in Madrid and Moncada-Rangel in Siracusa.

His research and architecture practice focuses on bioregional architecture and rural metabolism through ecology, material and food production.

He is artistic director of MAST Festival in Scicli.
